DEMO S.A., a leading pharmaceutical industry, is seeking a Warehouse Manager to oversee our facilities in Kryoneri, Attica and Thessaloniki. This role is crucial for ensuring smooth warehouse operations, team coordination, and compliance with health and safety regulations.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the efficient operation and inspection of the warehouse facilities.
- Ensure adherence to project timelines and deadlines.
- Analyze warehouse performance metrics (KPIs) such as order accuracy, on-time deliveries, and efficiency rates to drive continuous improvement.
- Organize and conduct annual and periodic inventory counts.
- Take initiatives to improve warehouse efficiency and effectiveness.
- Manage and oversee the storage of products in designated areas.
- Lead, train, and coordinate the warehouse team from order receipt to delivery.
- Implement and enforce quality and safety measures and procedures.
- Communicate effectively with customers, suppliers, and transportation companies.
- Ensure stock levels are maintained correctly and discrepancies are promptly investigated and resolved.
- Maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene and security
- Implement best practices to improve productivity and warehouse efficiency.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in a similar role in an industrial environment, with team management experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP 4HANA is a plus).
- Strong team leadership and management skills.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication skills.
