ManpowerGroup Greece, on behalf of its client, a well-known firm in the Insurance sector, is looking for an SAP Professional with a background in Financials.
The company offers a wide range of insurance services, to over one million clients, for over 50 years.
📌 Location: Athens, South-Center sector
📍 Working Model: Hybrid working model (3 remote, 2 days office)
What you will do:
As an SAP Professional with expertise in SAP FI, you will play a critical part in supporting and optimizing the company’s SAP system, ensuring it aligns with business needs. You will act as a liaison between the business and external SAP partners facilitating seamless communication and effective issue resolution.
More specifically you will:
- Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for the SAP FI module, ensuring smooth operation and resolving issues promptly
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to understand business processes, identify system enhancements, and ensure the SAP system supports business requirements effectively.
- Serve as the primary point of contact between the company and external consultants, coordinating efforts to resolve complex issues or implement system upgrades.
- Perform minor configurations or adjustments to the SAP FI module based on business needs while adhering to best practices.
- Administer SAP user accounts, roles, and authorizations in accordance with organizational policies.
- Provide guidance to end users (when needed) and support in the creation relevant documentation for processes, procedures, and system updates.
- Participate in SAP-related projects, such as upgrades, migrations, and new module implementations, ensuring FI-specific requirements are met.
- Works alongside with end users and external partners in order to support the compliance of SAP with statutory and company requests
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Computer Science or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience working with SAP FI in a consulting or support capacity
- Good understanding of SAP FI components, including general ledger (GL), accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), asset accounting (AA), and financial reporting.
- Experience with integration points between SAP FI and other SAP modules (e.g., MM, SD, CO).
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to understand business needs and translate them into SAP solutions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent command of English language written and verbal.
Any of the following will be highly appreciated:
- Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA and its financial functionalities.
- Certification in SAP FI or related modules.
- Experience with SAP project management methodologies (e.g., Agile or ASAP).
- Familiarity with regulatory and tax compliance requirements in SAP.
- Exposure in programming
