Main duties and responsibilities:
- Perform a wide variety of microbiological tests in accordance to GMP requirements and SOPs during the development of parenteral drug products.
- Complete microbiological analysis accurately on any pharmaceutical product, in-process material, raw material or stability sample
- Collect, calculate and record analysis of data.
- Promptly report any deviations or out of specifications result and assist where required with investigations
- Prepare reagents/solutions, microbial stock cultures or culture media
Requirements
- Bachelor Degree in Biology, Biotechnology, or relevant field with post graduate studies (MSc) in Biology, Biotechnology or Biochemistry
- Basic knowledge of microbiology and aseptic techniques (sterility testing, microbial enumeration testing, determination of bacterial endotoxin content, bioassay)
- Previous experience in Pharmaceutical Industry or relevant field will be considered as an asset
- Strong problem solving skills and ability to work independently
- Excellent communication skills
- Fluent in Greek & English
