ManpowerGroup Greece, on behalf of our client a company that offers comprehensive transport solutions, is seeking a Quality Inspector/ Technician for the company’s projects based in Volos.
📌 Location: Volos
📍 Working Model: On-site
🖋️You will be reporting to: Quality Manager
Responsibilities:
- Inspection of the production process and completion of work in compliance with procedures and standards.
- Ensuring that inspections and tests are conducted according to inspection and test plans.
- Managing non-conformities and issuing relevant reports.
- Performing root cause analysis (RCA) for continuous improvement.
- Supporting internal and random customer audits.
- Receiving and inspecting incoming materials.
- Conducting internal quality checks on critical processes (welding, bolt tightening, painting, etc.).
- Accompanying the customer representative during predefined inspection points.
- Ensuring that all issues are resolved before commissioning the modernized trains.
- Collecting all inspection records and ensuring staff training.
Requirements
Qualification:
- Degree Engineering.
- Minimum two years' experience in quality control activities in high demanding industries such as but not limited to: aeronautic, renewables, automotive or rolling stock.
- SAP Quality Management module (valued).
- Non-destructive test inspector (valued).
- Knowledge on different methodologies for root cause analysis.
- Experience in train or railway maintenance will be considered an asset
- Fluency in English language Spanish is also valued.
- Availability for short trips to audit suppliers will be valued, it will be necessary to work in two shifts.
