Assistant Accountant
(Athens)
Job Description

•    Processes daily accounting transactions
•    Supports in the reconciliation of General Ledger, Vendor and Customer balances, on a daily/monthly basis
•    Supports the overall accounting and bookkeeping functions including accounts payable and receivable, inventory and capital assets
•    Supports and participates in the preparation of monthly and annual financial reports
•    Ensures compliance with internal policies and procedures
•    Prepares ad hoc analysis/reports as per management requirements
Candidate’s Profile 

•    Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or in a related field
•    Master’s degree in Finance and/or relevant professional qualification will be considered a plus 
•    Good understanding of accounting IT and ERP tools 
•    Excellent verbal and written communication skills both in Greek and English language 
•    Able to work in an international environment and with international teams 
•    Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and the ability to summarize large amounts of data
•    Time management and ability to work under strict deadlines and multiple projects simultaneously
