Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Business and Tech stakeholders to form prioritized product backlogs, based on business value and strategic objectives.
- Work closely with business units and cross-functional teams to gain an in-depth understanding of their business processes.
- Propose alternative approaches and resolutions that can reduce time needed to get value from tech projects
- Develop and maintain project documentation, based on what is dictated by the project delivery framework of Public NEXT.
- Translate business needs into structured, detailed, and phase-specific deliverables, including user stories, technical specifications, and acceptance criteria. Ensure alignment with project milestones and proactively address ambiguities
- Proactively and continuously look for opportunities to improve on business processes affecting external and internal customers across multiple systems.
- Take full ownership of the project lifecycle, structuring deliverables per phase—scope definition, planning, execution, and deployment.
- Closely track milestones, flag risks early, and implement mitigation plans to ensure timely and budget-aligned delivery
- Work closely with the QA and User Acceptance teams to define test scenarios and acceptance criteria, ensuring that the delivered solutions meet the required quality standards.
- Facilitate the operation of our post-launch tracking framework to measure adoption and validate the expected value realization. Identify and address barriers early to drive business impact.
- Identify and track the success metrics and analyse the business impact with the corresponding contributors.
- Maintain a structured risk management approach across all project phases, proactively identifying and escalating potential blockers before they impact critical milestones.
Requirements:
Project Management:
- 2+ years of experience in Tech Project Management or experience in a Digital Consultancy or an organisation offering IT Services to Business.
- Solid Digital Tech and IT Systems understanding.
- Ability to collect and process data needed to articulate business cases that justify the value generated for each tech initiative
Retail Domain Knowledge:
- Understanding of basic terms and functions of retail and eCommerce
- Experience working in retail industry will be a strong advantage
Soft Skills:
- Self-motivated individual with a mindset of innovation and the ability to prioritize tasks & meet deadlines at a top-notch quality level.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a complex, fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Be proactive in communicating ideas and challenges.
- Fluency in English.
Desirable Qualifications:
- Understanding (and ideally familiarity) of Gen AI tools and basic concepts will be considered a plus, as it is considered a skill that will be a must have in the foreseeing future
