Job Description
We are on the look our for a Software Engineer in Test to join our team!
Key responsibilities:
-- Test Script Development:
- Write and maintain automated test scripts using C#.
- Create test data and configure test environments as needed.
- Ensure that test scripts are maintainable and reusable.
-- Test Execution:
- Execute automated test scripts to validate software functionality, performance, and security.
- Monitor and report test results, including identifying and documenting defects.
- Integrate automated tests into the Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipeline for frequent and automated testing.
-- Test Automation Framework Development
- Design develop a test automation framework that includes libraries, tools, and best practices.
- Maintain the automation framework to ensure its stability and scalability.
-- Test Reporting and Documentation
- Defect Reporting and Prioritization: Efficiently report defects and prioritize them based on project impact and criticality.
- Document test cases, test scripts, and automation processes.
- Communicate test progress and results to stakeholders.
-- Participate in Code Reviews, Pull request reviews.
-- Guide and provide training to other automation team members.
-- Product Requirement Analysis:
- Understand and analyze product requirements to ensure clear testing scope and objectives
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3-4 years of relevant software testing experience.
- Technical Skills: Excellent knowledge in C# .NET or equivalent OO language, NUnit, SQL, and REST API testing.
- Load Testing: Understanding of Load Testing tools like JMeter and the ability to create and execute load testing scripts.
- Automation Proficiency: Experience with Specflow and Selenium for test automation.
- CI/CD Familiarity: Knowledge of Continuous Integration tools for integrating testing processes into the development pipeline.
- Behavior Driven Development (BDD): Familiarity with BDD methodologies is a plus
- A relevant University degree is an asset.
- Solid verbal communication skills.
- Ability to multi-task and willingness to take on new challenges.
- Previous experience with test management system such as Zephyr Scale considered a plus.
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
- Exhibit dependability, a positive attitude, and attention to detail.
