Actionline is currently seeking on behalf of its client BBI - Intrakat RT Joint Venture for a Site Safety Engineer to build the Riviera Tower in Ellinikon, Greece. This iconic structure, with 50 storeys and a height of 200m, will stand as the highest building in Greece.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Site Safety Supervisor/Engineer, your primary responsibilities will focus on ensuring the safety and security of our construction project. These responsibilities include:
- Overseeing and enforcing safety regulations, ensuring all site workers strictly adhere to safety protocols, and identifying and mitigating potential hazards.
- Implementing and enforcing the project management plan, particularly the safety aspects, and ensuring that it is followed diligently.
- Maintaining accurate records of safety-related data, including incident reports, safety audits, and safety inspections. Preparing reports on safety incidents and compliance.
- Conducting regular site inspections to verify that safety measures are being adhered to and taking corrective actions when necessary.
- Participating in risk assessments and evaluating potential hazards, taking the necessary precautions to prevent accidents or incidents.
- In the event of accidents or incidents, leading or participating in investigations to identify root causes and recommend corrective actions.
- Assisting in the development and implementation of safety training programs for site personnel.
- Gathering data from site activities, including safety audits, inspections, and incident reports, to assess and improve safety practices.
Required Skills Experience::
- Some professional experience in site safety and construction projects.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and team management skills.
- Reliable, responsible, and results oriented.
- Attention to detail, autonomy, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in English, and Greek.
