ManpowerGroup Greece, on behalf of its client—a global leader and Fortune 500 company—is seeking for a skilled Technical Business Analyst to play a key role in their Enterprise EDI Consolidation Project.
Our client operates a Tech Hub in Athens with over 80 employees, (60 and more are Engineers) delivering IT services across multiple corporate functions in Europe and the USA.
📌 Location: Athens, North sector (easily accessible via metro).
📍 Working Model: Hybrid (3 days office, 2 remote).
🖋️ Reporting to: Applications Manager.
Your Role
As a Technical Business Analyst, you will spearhead the management and optimization of Enterprise EDI services, bridging the gap between business needs and technical execution. You'll ensure seamless integration of EDI solutions, working closely with delivery teams, functional owners, and trading partners. Your role will involve analyzing business requirements, designing efficient solutions, and driving the successful delivery of EDI projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Requirement Analysis: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business needs, translating them into actionable technical specifications for EDI systems.
- EDI Solution Design: Develop, document, and implement EDI mappings and specifications to ensure accurate and efficient data exchange.
- Trading Partner Coordination: Manage EDI integrations with trading partners, ensuring smooth setup, testing, and communication.
- System Monitoring & Issue Resolution: Oversee EDI transactions, troubleshoot issues, and ensure timely resolution to minimize disruptions.
- Technical Leadership: Lead EDI projects, including risk assessments, implementation planning, and coordination with stakeholders.
- User Support: Provide training and technical support to internal teams on EDI operations.
- Documentation & Security: Maintain up-to-date documentation for EDI systems and ensure compliance with data security standards.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for optimizing EDI systems and recommend solutions to enhance efficiency.
Requirements
- A BSc/MSc in Computer Science or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in EDI or as a Technical Business Analyst role.
- Strong prior experience in Software Engineering roles.
- Strong SQL skills and experience with ERP system integration including SAP.
- Technical experience in large-scale projects or international projects, (including ERP migration projects).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Advanced problem-solving and analytical skills.
Any experience on the following will be considered an asset
- Team leadership experience.
- EDI standards and protocols (e.g., ANSI X12, EDIFACT), EDI translators and communication protocols (e.g., AS2, FTP, SFTP).
- Experience in SAP EDI, ALE and iDocs.
- Background in the automotive industry or multi-industry manufacturing data.
- Experience in OpenText, VAN, or transitioning to EDI managed services.
- Familiarity with migration projects from VAN to managed service models.
