ManpowerGroup Greece, on behalf of our client, is seeking a Senior SW Engineer/Team Leader
Our client is an established leader in Corporate Travel & Travel Services with a presence in the Greek Market of more than 40 years.
📌 Location: Athens City Center (close to Metro Station)
📍 Working Model: Hybrid working model (3 days onsite)
🖋️You will be reporting to the CIO
What you will do:
As a Senior SW Engineer / Team Leader, you will be working closely with the CIO and you will lead the company’s growing Engineering team to build the next generation of their platforms
More specifically you will:
- Design and implement the next generation booking platforms using various configuration management technologies
- Lead the Software Engineering Team
- Provide ongoing support and enhancements in existing systems and platforms
- Collaborate cross-functionally with business users, project managers and other stakeholders to ensure high standards in products delivery, quality, and performance
- Implement process improvements
- Elevate technology and consistently apply best practices
- Foster excellent relationships with other colleagues and departments
- Demonstrate team and personal accountability to deliver good value and drive results
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with C#, ASP.NET, .net Core
- Strong hands-on experience with Relational Databases (MS SQL)
- Experience with Windows/Linux Administration
- Working experience with GIT, GIT Flow
- Excellent understanding of Project Management methodologies (Waterfall, Agile)
- Excellent command of English language (verbal and written)
- Great analytical skills and an outstanding attention to detail
- Results-driven personality, with energy, commitment, and a passion for personal development
- Excellent team spirit and a strong will to lead your colleagues by example
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to successfully resolve issues
Any experience in the following will be highly appreciated:
- Team Leading experience of software engineering teams
- Experience working in Agile teams, processes, and practices
- Development experience with Angular
- Experience in Document Databases (Mongo DB)
