Our client has a Tech Hub in Athens with more than 60 employees and the Hub provides IT Services across all corporate functions of the organization in Europe & the USA.
📌 Location: Athens, North sector (walking distance to metro station)
📍 Working Model: Hybrid working model (3 days office, 2 remote)
🖋️You will be reporting to the Business Applications IT Director. Dotted line reporting to the Tech Hub Manager in Greece
What you will do:
As an SAP PP Specialist, you will be part of the SAP Specialists’ team, and you will provide your expertise and support to drive the efficient utilization of SAP ECC 6 within the Enterprise manufacturing operations. A strong understanding of production planning processes and extensive experience in implementing and optimizing SAP PP module will be required.
More specifically you will:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate business needs into SAP PP solutions
- Configure and customize SAP PP module to align with manufacturing processes and optimize production planning and execution
- Lead the implementation, integration, and upgrades of SAP PP module, ensuring smooth deployment and minimal disruption to operations
- Provide end-user training and support to enhance adoption and utilization of SAP ECC 6 system
- Conduct regular system audits and performance analysis to identify areas for improvement and implement enhancements to streamline processes and increase efficiency
- Troubleshoot and resolve SAP PP related issues, ensuring timely resolution and minimal impact on production
- Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in SAP PP module and manufacturing technology to drive continuous improvement
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree (preferably in Business or Computer Science)
- 6+ years of experience as an SAP PP Consultant or Specialist, with hands-on experience in SAP ECC 6
- In-depth knowledge of production planning processes, including MRP, MPS, BOM, Routing, and Capacity Planning
- Strong understanding of SAP PP module functionalities, configuration, and integration with other SAP modules such as MM and SD
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal in both Greek and English
- Ability to work independently as well as a team player and manage own workload
- Ability to balance competing priorities and work under tight deadlines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
Any experience in S/4 HANA will be considered an asset
