ManpowerGroup Greece, on behalf of a global leading company operating in food industry, is in search of a Purchasing Manager.

🖋️You will be reporting to: General Manager Greece
As a purchasing manager you’ll be responsible for developing effective purchasing strategy and procedures to ensure the company’s supply of products and services is being handled in the most cost-saving way.
What you will do:
- Provide high quality management concerning supplier evaluation and sourcing as well as monitor closely purchase order processing
- Monitor and evaluate all needs concerning the needs of the company for supplying goods and services based on production’s requirements
- Attend trade shows, interview vendors and visit supply plants/distribution centers
- Manage and negotiate contracts, including settling disputes and ensuring that a supplier meets expectations
- Ensure responsible procurement practices are being met and comply with company objectives and policies
- Work with other teams for cross-departmental work
Requirements
What we are looking for:
- At least 3 years of relevant professional experience in commercial department management, handling suppliers, valuable in a multinational company
- Bachelor’s degree in the area of Business Administration or similar field is desirable
- Full proficiency of English
- Good financial understanding
- Proficient with MS Office and familiar with CRM use
- Availability to travel
