🖋️You will be reporting to: Management
Your work will include:
- Managing a portfolio of projects, liaising with partner organizations, and supporting them in implementation.
- Conducting regular progress reviews and engaging stakeholders through project showcasing, mentoring, and fundraising.
- Building key relationships within the local tourism ecosystem and participating in strategic events.
- Crafting key messages, developing communication strategies, and ensuring compliance with visibility plans.
- Collaborating on media materials, planning content for social media, and identifying PR opportunities.
- Representing the Foundation at external events and engaging with international media.
- Tracking project deliverables, monitoring performance against KPIs, and ensuring compliance with reporting requirements.
- Overseeing financial audits, reviewing expenses, and providing regular updates to management.
Requirements
- Background connected to sustainability and/or tourism and travel.
- Minimum of two years' experience in a corporate foundation, NGO, or corporate responsibility role.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of German, Spanish, Portuguese, or French is a plus.
- Experience with project management tools (e.g., Asana, Teams, Optimy).
- Strong understanding of how (corporate) foundations operate.
- Proven success in managing projects across multiple countries.
- Creativity in using communications to enhance awareness and build corporate reputation.
- Ability to build strong relationships and operate effectively in a complex environment.
- Knowledge of stakeholder mapping and engagement strategies.
- Excellent planning, organizational, and negotiation skills.
- Proactive mindset with a can-do attitude.
- Passion for development, cooperation, and creating positive impact in tourism destinations.
- Experience managing external stakeholder relationships in international contexts.
