DEMO SA, one of the world's largest pharmaceutical manufacturers in injectable facilities, is currently looking for a high-performing Production Planning Coordinator to join our Planning team. The main purpose of this role is to support the demand planning and forecasting process implementation in order to actively support our business growth. This position is based in Athens (Kryoneri).
Responsibilities:
- Reviews and summarizes demand and supply plans, issues, recommendations and commitments on a regular basis
- Prepares the short and long term production plan of the factory, according to the requirements of the customers, focused on achieving the desired service level
- Plans and controls the purchasing of goods and materials according to production plan in collaboration with procurement department
- Develops and delivers the forecast demand by reviewing historical sales trends, applying demand data and evaluates forecast results
- Implement and monitor the progress of the Corrective and Preventive Action Plan resulting from findings/observations of either Internal Audits and/or Audits from customers/ organizations/authorities
- Collaborates with internal teams – sales, procurement and production, as required
- Ensure that all production processes adhere to regulatory requirements.
- Address any production delays or issues, providing solutions and ensuring minimal disruptions
Requirements
- BSc Degree in Business Administration or Life Sciences, combined with a MSc Degree in relevant field will be considered an asset.
- 1-3 years professional experience in planning, in Pharmaceutical or Food Industry
- Computer literacy, plus SAP knowledge is mandatory
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Fluent oral and written skills in Greek & in English
- Ability to handle various tasks simultaneously under various deadlines
