Job Summary
The Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the company's internal procedures, ensuring efficient operations, and driving productivity across all departments. This role will focus strongly on supply chain management, project management, and require SQL expertise for effective data management and decision-making support.
Job description
- Ensuring the continuous operation of the commercial department and following all prescribed procedures to achieve maximum productivity
- Develop and manage the end-to-end supply chain strategy to ensure timely availability of products
- Lead and coordinate internal projects aimed at improving operational efficiency, including store management systems, CRM, and ERP integration
- Develop project plans, allocate resources, and track progress to ensure successful and timely project completion
- Facilitate collaboration across commercial and software departments to ensure cohesive project execution
- Analyze and streamline current operational processes to drive productivity and efficiency improvements
- Establish and maintain KPIs and performance metrics to measure operational effectiveness and guide continuous improvement
- Utilize SQL for data analysis, reporting, and tracking key performance indicators across supply chain and operations
- Generate reports to analyze trends, performance, and inventory levels to support data-driven decision-making
- Manage and mentor a team of department supervisors, ensuring alignment with company goals and operational standards
Candidate profile
- Bachelor’s degree in positive sciences, business or development. A master’s degree or relevant certifications are a plus.
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in operations management, preferably within the retail or IT sectors
- Strong knowledge of product management and supply chain
- Proficiency in SQL for data management, analysis, and reporting
- Familiarity with ERP and CRM systems, ideally Softone
- Proven track record in project management, with strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Ability to analyze data to make informed decisions, with a focus on continuous improvement
- Experience in machine learning will be considered a plus
- Strong team leadership and development capabilities, with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills in both Greek and English
