ManpowerGroup Greece, on behalf of Raymetrics, the first atmospheric LIDAR company in the world, is looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer.
Raymetrics has developed a range of highly customizable products. These are suitable for industrial and commercial uses (aviation, mining, heavy industry, meteorology and environmental) as well as academic uses.

🖋️ You will be reporting to: COO or/and Production Manager
What you will do:
- Prepare mechanical studies from concept to implementation for infrastructure projects.
- Design mechanical and optomechanical components of LIDAR systems
- Supervising mechanical installations.
- Provide detailed design solutions for optomechanical projects.
- Managing project timelines, resources, and budgets.
- On-site production supervision for giving guidelines.
- Coordinating with the other engineering departments, as required.
Requirements
What we are looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- At least 5 years of experience as a design engineer.
- Excellent knowledge of 2D and 3D software like AutoCAD and SolidWorks
- Fluency in English Language.
- Experience with quality control inspections and regulatory compliance.
- Experience in designing optomechanical precise components.
- Any experience in Thermal and Vibrational (FEA) analysis is highly appreciated.
- Organization and time management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Leadership skills.
- A solutions-oriented personality.
- Accuracy and attention to detail.
