We are seeking an experienced Laboratory Technician to join our Laboratories Development and Support Department.
The position is based at our biotechnology manufacturing plant in Agios Stefanos.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing basic failures in laboratory equipment, as well as managing preventative maintenance and qualification/ calibration tasks.
Main duties and responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair basic failures and errors in laboratory equipment.
- Manage and execute routine preventative maintenance of laboratory equipment.
- Coordinate calibration, maintenance, qualification and service activities provided by external contractors.
- Provide support to IT and Quality teams as needed.
- Participate in lab audits and inspections, ensuring compliance of laboratory equipment at all times.
Requirements
- BSc in Engineering, Chemistry or a related field.
- Hands-on experience in laboratory equipment/instrument maintenance.
- Knowledge of biotechnology and related laboratory equipment is highly desirable.
- Previous experience in maintaining and servicing biotechnology laboratory equipment will be considered an asset.
- Experience in a similar technical role will be considered a strong advantage.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Fluency in Greek and English.
- Strong problem-solving skills and analytical thinking.
