ManpowerGroup Greece, on behalf of its client, a Fortune 500 firm, leader at its domain, is looking for a Java Developer.
Our client has a Tech Hub in Athens with more than 60 employees and the Hub provides IT Services across all corporate functions of the organization in Europe & the USA.
📌 Location: Athens, North sector (walking distance to metro station)
📍 Working Model: Hybrid working model (3 days office, 2 remote)
🖋️You will be reporting to the Business Applications IT Director
What you will do:
You will be responsible for developing, and maintaining enterprise-level applications using Java EE, JSP, and Prime Faces. Your expertise will help drive the digital transformation in the manufacturing sector.
Your main responsibilities will be:
- Develop robust, scalable, and secure web applications using Java EE.
- Creating and maintain user interfaces using JSP and PrimeFace
- Integrating with various manufacturing systems to streamline processes
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Identify and resolve performance and scalability issues
- Writing clean, maintainable, and efficient code
- Participating in code reviews and mentor junior developers
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or related field
- 3+ years of experience in Java development, with a focus on Java EE.
- Proficient in JSP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript (jQuery)
- Strong understanding of e-manufacturing processes and systems
- Experience with SQL and relational databases
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and collaboration skill
- Very good knowledge of Greek & English language. (Written & verbal)
