ManpowerGroup Greece, on behalf of its client, a dynamically growing company that provides services in the fields of Asset Management and Hospitality, is looking for a Facility Manager.
📌 Location: Athens
🖋️You will be reporting to: Development Director
Your daily activities will include, and you will be familiar with:
- Responsible for planning and implementing the annual program for new projects and maintenance (both preventive and corrective) of existing properties. This includes preparing the budget and submitting it to the Development Director for approval.
- Oversee the preventive and corrective maintenance programs for electromechanical equipment, ensuring proper functionality and addressing any issues promptly.
- Ensure that all projects are executed according to established quality standards and timelines, addressing any delays or deviations from the plan.
- Monitor and ensure the timely submission of procurement requests to the procurement department, following established procedures to avoid delays in materials or services.
- Responsible for overseeing the process of preparing and approving necessary certifications, ensuring compliance with legal and procedural requirements.
- Ensure the organization and proper maintenance of both physical and electronic records related to the departments activities, making them easily accessible and up to date.
- Recommend improvements to the departments operational rules and procedures. Identify and organize the training needs of employees to enhance their skills and ensure smooth operations.
- Prepare records, reports, and other documentation for tasks performed, ensuring that they are completed accurately and submitted on time to relevant stakeholders.
- Regularly prepare and lead discussions on departmental expenses with the Development Director, ensuring that financial aspects are well managed and aligned with the budget.
- Conduct regular travel across Greece to supervise and inspect the Groups facilities, ensuring that all projects and maintenance activities are carried out effectively and meet the required standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical/mechanical engineering
- At least 6 years` experience in a similar role or in a mechanical engineering role
- Experience in designing EM installations in construction projects (initial design and execution of installations)
- Experience in supervision, management and performance of a team of technicians
- Very good knowledge of computer and ERP systems
- Excellent knowledge of English
