Event IT Support Specialist
Job Summary:
The Multimedia and IT Support Technician will be responsible for providing technical support and troubleshooting services to users experiencing issues with multimedia software and hardware, as well as general IT support tasks. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, creativity, and customer service skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Multimedia Support:
• Supports live events by managing and operating AV equipment, ensuring smooth execution of presentations and meetings.
• Handles troubleshooting multimedia hardware issues, including problems with cameras, microphones, and speakers.
• Collaborates and cooperates with other functions to deliver meetings and events
IT Support:
• Provides first-level contact and problem resolution for all users with hardware, software, and application problems.
• Resolves user-reported problems using available tools and following procedures and policies for the handling of support cases.
• Documents all user requests and actions taken in the helpdesk ticketing system.
Technical Assistance and Training:
• Trains users on new tools and software applications, focusing on multimedia technologies.
• Creates and maintain documentation on procedures, FAQs, and user guides.
• Performs routine checks and updates to hardware and software to ensure they are operational and up to date.
Collaboration and Communication:
• Works closely with the IT team and other departments to enhance and troubleshoot system integrations.
• Communicates effectively with users to explain solutions, answer questions, and provide updates.
Candidate Profile:
• Minimum two (2) Years in Multimedia and events support or conferences.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (mandatory).
• Strong understanding of IT support processes, including troubleshooting and ticket management.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Familiarity with help desk software and tools (SNOW, Intune).
• Ability to travel.
