ManpowerGroup, on behalf of its client, a food production and trading company with a leading position in the Greek market and export activity, is looking for its production unit in Ilia, Peloponnese Region, Greece an Engineering Manager

📌Location: Ilia, Peloponnese

📍 Working Model: On-site 

✔️ Reports to: Chief Engineering Manager

Responsibilities:  

  • Develop and implement a strategy for auxiliary services management and energy efficiency to maintain/reduce energy costs.
  • Ensure the optimal condition of electromechanical equipment to support the continuous operation of the production process at the lowest possible cost.
  • Guarantee the application of preventive and predictive maintenance for factory equipment, maximizing its utilization and minimizing maintenance costs.
  • Manage engineering-related projects by creating detailed plans to achieve defined objectives.
  • Take responsibility and perform duties as the Safety Engineer for the factory.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety standards, protecting the well-being of employees, external partners, and visitors while ensuring the factory's operation aligns with corporate standards.
  • Be responsible for systems and standards related to safety, health, and the environment.
  • Prepare relevant OPEX and CAPEX budgets in a timely manner and monitor expenses to meet maintenance needs at the lowest possible cost while ensuring continuous improvement of the factory’s production capacity.
  • Manage and ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures, as well as product quality and safety standards within the designated area of responsibility.
  • Propose, plan, and manage production system upgrade processes, ensuring these processes are maintained and followed by the team to enhance productivity

 

Requirements

Qualification:  

  • Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
  • 2-4 years of work experience in an industrial environment in maintenance/engineering, preferably in the food industry.
  • Familiarity with Lean & TPM tools and techniques.
  • Excellent knowledge of the MS Office suite.
  • Knowledge of SAP will be considered an asset.
  • Fluency in English will be considered an additional advantage.

  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
