Our client is an IT Solutions Provider, and specifically, a Greek company based in Thessaloniki, with focus on software development and ICT Solutions.

🖋️You will be reporting to: Software Engineer Team Lead
What you will do:
As a Data Scientist, specializing in ML and blockchain technologies, your responsibilities will focus on creating and implementing advanced data-driven solutions. You will work with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and optimize algorithms and models, with focus on Smart Cities Projects.
More specifically, you will be:
- Creating and deploying ML models and algorithms for smart city solutions
- Analyzing large datasets to derive insights, perform predictive analytics, and enhance business operations
- Developing and optimizing deep learning models for natural language processing, computer vision, and recommendation systems
- Creating smart contracts and decentralized applications (DApps) for system integration
- Collecting, preprocessing, and analyzing diverse large datasets
- Ensuring data quality and integrity throughout its lifecycle
- Building and maintaining scalable data pipelines and infrastructure
- Collaborating with software engineers, data engineers, and business stakeholders to meet requirements and deliver solutions
- Effectively communicating findings and insights to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Documenting methods, processes, and results for future reference and reproducibility
Requirements
- University Degree in Computer Science / IT / Engineering field
- Master’s or PhD in ML, Data Science, will be considered a strong asset
- 2+ years of experience as a Data Scientist, with a strong focus on ML/AI
- Proficiency in programming languages (Python)
- Involvement in IoT projects will be considered a plus
- Deep understanding of machine learning frameworks and libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-Learn).
- Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark)
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
