ManpowerGroup Greece, on behalf of its client, a Fortune 500 firm, leader at its domain, is looking for an experienced Data Driven Strategy Leader.
Our client has a Tech Hub in Athens with more than 60 employees and the Hub provides IT Services across all corporate functions of the organization in Europe & the USA.
📌 Location: Athens, North sector (walking distance to metro station)
📍 Working Model: Hybrid working model (3 days office, 2 remote)
🖋️You will be reporting directly to the Value Center CIO, (dotted line to the Data Analytics and AI Manager)
What you will do:
You will act as a liaison between the Corporate Divisions and the AI and Data Analytics Unit to define and transform the Analytics strategy. In addition, you will lead a small team of Data Engineers that will provide technical insights and experience in utilizing ML/AI and other analytics technologies so that you and your team, would generate value to the organization towards a strong Data-Driven orientation.
More specifically you will engage in:
- Data Transformation: Define and implement data transformation strategies to support the company’s vision and strategic priorities.
- Report and Tool Consolidation: Identify and consolidate various processes, tools, and reports to streamline and harmonize all sources for simplified use and visualization through PowerBI.
- Business Collaboration: Partner with the business to understand their needs, challenges, and opportunities, providing best-in-class solutions that create value and competitive advantage.
- Process Automation: Work with business leaders to understand their work processes and develop approaches to automate and streamline existing manual processes.
- Strategic Collaboration: Collaborate with senior leadership to define data-driven strategies and initiatives that will contribute to the company’s growth and success.
- Effort Prioritization: Assess and prioritize all related efforts to maximize value delivered to the business.
- Enterprise Data Transformation: Work with the Corporate Enterprise Analytics Team to lead the transformation of enterprise data platforms to enable AI, data science, analytics, optimization, and system integration.
- AI Integration and Innovation: Leverage cutting-edge AI technology to carry out complex analysis, build proofs-of-concept and prototypes, create insights, and develop models and products that serve the business.
- Emerging Technology Evaluation: Identify opportunities for AI integration to enhance IT capabilities and drive innovation, while evaluating emerging technologies and trends.
- Skillset Development: Establish data analytics and AI skills to build in-house expertise and best practices across the organization.
- KPI Monitoring: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the impact and value of AI and data transformation initiatives.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the subject matter expert in data strategy to engage with internal stakeholders to understand their specific needs and opportunities for data-driven services.
- Project Management: Manage and lead a high-performing team to execute data-driven projects from start to finish. Oversee project planning, execution, and delivery, ensuring alignment with goals, timelines, and quality standards. Facilitate effective communication, resource allocation, and risk management to drive successful project outcomes and continuously improve team performance.
- Team Leading: Provide direction, motivation, and support to team members to ensure high performance and achievement of objectives.
Requirements
- An MSc/BSc degree Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Analytics or related areas
- 8+ years of experience as an IT Professional in SW Engineering
- 4+ years of experience in Analytics / Data Science / Data Engineering / AI or a similar role
- Proficiency in data visualization tools
- Expertise in AI/ML techniques, tools, and frameworks
- Experience with Microsoft Azure products, Power BI or similar technologies
- Solid technical background, with hands-on software development experience
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects to completion while maintaining quality standards and project deadlines.
- Excellent command of the English language both verbal and written
- Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
- Passion for data and innovation
- Ability to think strategically, creatively, and analytically
Will be considered a strong asset any of the following:
- Team Leading experience in Data and AI teams
- Project Management experience
- Experience in Data Governance projects
