Chief Financial Officer
Based in Athens, Centre
Responsibilities:
- Oversees the company’s Finance, Accounting, and Tax Compliance functions
- Perform risk management by analyzing the organization’s
- Ensure cash flow is appropriate for the organization’s operations
- Decide on investment strategies by considering cash and liquidity risks
- Providing strategic recommendations to the CEO/president and members of the executive management team
- Leads the preparation of the annual budget, combining company's retail, wholesale and e-commerce sectors and conducts variance analysis of actual costs/revenues vs. budget, forecast or prior years
- Reviews all tax returns, reconciliations and payments
- Supervises the monthly closing procedure and produces ad hoc and regular fin
- Designs financial processes to be followed in the company's ERP and ensures adherence
Requirements
Candidate’s Profile:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant field
- Master’s degree will be considered an asset
- At least 10 years of professional experience in related industries (Hospitality/Asset Management)
- Holder of A’ class signatory rights
- Experience in Property / Real Estate taxation
- In-depth knowledge of Greek GAAP, Accounting & Tax legislation
- Proficient user of MS Office
- Excellent command of the Greek and English language, both written and oral
- Strong financial and accounting background, including an understanding of profit and loss, balance sheet and cash flow management, and general finance and budgeting
Skills :
- Ability to work under pressure, plan personal workload effectively, and delegate
- People Management and leadership skills
