If so, ManpowerGroup Greece, on behalf of our client, HERACLES Group, member of Holcim, Greece’s leading company in the field of building materials, is seeking a Category Manager for Equipment, Spares and Consumables for Production and Operating Units.

Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Conduct market research; propose new suppliers and products.
- Define and support category strategy implementation.
- Perform spend analytics and internal demand analysis.
- Liaise with stakeholders for specifications and evaluations.
- Conduct SWOT analysis; identify procurement levers.
- Highlight risks and prepare mitigation plans.
- Execute procurement activities; run RFPs and negotiate terms.
- Discuss and agree on contractual terms with suppliers.
- Ensure achievement of annual targets and PPIs.
- Promote digitalization, manage key supplier relationships, and ensure compliance.
Qualification:
- Degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical) or in other discipline with strong experience in procurement within the heavy industry
- Post graduate studies on technical discipline or MBA will be considered an asset.
- Minimum of five (5) years of working experience as Senior/ Category Buyer in a well- organized procurement function, preferably in the construction sector or the manufacturing heavy industry
- Proven track record in supplier management & Market knowledge of technical categories (Goods and Services)
- Proficiency in MS Office applications
- Knowledge and proven usage of SAP
