ManpowerGroup Greece, on behalf of its client, an international law firm, is seeking an Accountant to join their team.
📌 Location: Athens, Athens
🖋️You will be reporting to: CFO
Your daily activities will include, and you will be familiar with:
- Making EMEA payments, local and foreign invoices.
- Collaboration and communication with the AP team in the USA regarding supplier details, supplier credits.
- Monitoring of interbank transactions.
- Management and control of customer accounts.
- Collaboration with the payroll provider and the United Kingdom for payment scheduling.
- Cooperation with the local team to ensure invoices are accurate, including VAT.
- Ensuring a clear definition of responsibilities, in accordance with the RS Policy, regarding the Professional Employees (EAs) preparing the pro-forma invoices, helping improve the process, and working with the UK team for guidance.
- Assisting and completing U.S. tax forms (e.g., W8-BEN) for U.S. clients.
- Monitoring and recording ICAP requests.
- Communication and collaboration with local departments to ensure smooth processing of procedures.
Requirements
What we are looking for:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Maximum 5 years of experience in a similar role.
- Familiarity with banking procedures and transactions.
- Knowledge of MS Office.
- Good knowledge of the English language.
